Hope

Wiping my tear, i look into the sky
grieving at my sorrows that all passed by
i sat by the street, I’ve never felt so alone
everything i had, just seems to be gone

faded memories run in my mind
teasing me that now they’re tough to find
the grief inside me does remind
that i can run from it, but i can’t hide

i saw a faint light by the side
“who’s there”, with awe i cried
out came she from under the starry sky
staring at me with her gleaming blue eyes

“I’ll sit by you”she said”all night and day”
“I’ve come here to wipe your tears away”
“who are you” i asked in dread
“I’m hope” to me she said…..

well…. I’m not much of a poet… but words keep rolling sometime…
